Companionship
The kettle on, the news, and a proper conversation.
Home support across England
Witho introduces families to vetted local helpers for the practical day-to-day: company, the weekly shop, a lift to the doctor, the post, the garden. Not care — just the help that makes staying at home easy. You choose your helper, and they keep every penny of the rate they set.
The morning visit
Breakfast made, the post opened, plants watered, a proper chat.
Out and about
The weekly shop together, then coffee on the way home.
The catch-up
A hot meal cooked, the crossword, and company for the evening.
A care agency keeps half the hour. Your helper keeps all of it.
What helpers do
Most families start with one visit a week and build from there. Mix and match whatever helps — there is no package and nothing to be locked into.
Witho Pulse
The hardest part of arranging help from a distance is not knowing. After every visit, your helper can leave a short note — how she seemed, whether she ate properly, anything they noticed around the house. It arrives in your inbox within minutes.
It takes them two taps and costs you nothing. Over the weeks it builds a picture that no single phone call ever gives you — which is often what tells a family something has changed, long before anyone would have thought to mention it.
Optional, and only with the permission of the person being supported. Stop it any time. These are a helper’s impressions, not a medical assessment.

A short enquiry — who the support is for, what would help, and when. A real person replies within one working day.
We suggest a helper who fits — identity-checked, reference-checked, DBS-checked, and interviewed. You meet before anything starts.
Sessions are arranged directly between you and your helper, at the rate they set — all of which is theirs.
What makes Witho different
The focus is staying at home, staying in control, and making the day-to-day easier.
Clear pricing and clear positioning for adult children arranging support.
Support only — no washing, dressing or medication. That boundary keeps it safe, simple and affordable. Exactly what that means.
Why Witho exists
Witho began with a simple frustration: families paying agency rates, and the person who actually turns up — doing the shop, making the tea, sitting and talking — taking home a fraction of it.
So we built it differently. Helpers set their own rate from £20 an hour and keep every penny. We add a 10% service fee to your side to run the platform and insure every visit — and nothing at all to theirs. What we add is the part that is hardest to do alone: finding genuinely good local people, checking them properly, and standing behind the introduction.
